While I missed all of you, I thoroughly enjoyed a very beneficial week off, while our family was homeless.
During the week, I worked on mentally preparing myself for the move and the changes my family is going to make. This preparation included spending less time online, becoming more mindful, and developing an enjoyable morning routine.
This morning routine included spending time walking and taking photos. I always loved my morning walks in port, when we were on Moonraker, so I decided to make this walk–with the search for beauty that is a part of photography–a regular part of my routine.
So, I thought, what better way to share my week off with all of you, than to show you a picture from each morning (with a few others mixed in)?

My last morning living in Michigan!
And, off to the Holiday Inn in Terra Haute, Indiana! Yes, Holiday Inns allow cats!
Tomorrow, we’re going to drudge through Illinois, and spend the night in Little Rock. After that, it’s onward to our new apartment in Houston!
P.S. I will elaborate on my Internet break later, but, in order to be more intentional with my time, I will be posting only 3 times a week, once this move is over, and I will be writing only 3 e-mails a day. So I will get to you!
