This is a great language building game that Beanie’s teachers sent home with her. It involves a laminated paper button. We give the Bean directions, involving the button. Here is how the game works:
1. We hand Beanie the button and tell her to put it on something. We might say, “Put the button on the organ,” or “Put the button on the chair.”
2. Then we ask, “Button, Button, Where’s the Button?” Right now, we answer “The button is on the chair,” etc.
3. Once Beanie gets the hang of it, we’ll use other prepositions: “Under the chair,” “Inside the basket,” etc.
